Later, she travelled to the United States to pursue a Master’s in Information Systems. There, she experienced fluid learning models that encouraged exploration. These experiences planted a clear vision. Learning should keep pace with the individual, not the other way around.

When Sushma eventually joined Sri Chaitanya, she entered a space filled with senior colleagues who carried long years of experience. She did not see herself as a woman stepping into a male-dominated space. She saw herself as someone with a vision to offer. Her experiences abroad strengthened her. Families in rural regions dreamed of sending their children to institutions like IITs, AIIMS, or premier engineering and medical colleges. However, they lacked guidance, exposure, and structured coaching. Sushma and her family saw this gap clearly.

They began conducting workshops in towns and villages, explaining how competitive exams worked. Students learned that these paths were accessible with the right strategy. Parents gained confidence that their children could aim higher.

Advice for Young Women Aspiring To Lead

Sushma speaks to young women with honesty. Success, she says, begins with a powerful internal drive. She emphasizes that every individual faces struggles yet also holds unique advantages. Women often multitask with ease, stay organized, and gain sharper focus with time.

She encourages women to work with intention, stay curious, and keep learning. She also speaks about responsible freedom. As CEO and Academic Director, Sushma expanded Sri Chaitanya’s reach with clarity and structure. She introduced integrated curricula that linked national, state, and board-level requirements. This allowed students from smaller towns to prepare for exams like JEE Advanced, JEE Main, NEET, Olympiads, etc.

Her exposure to international learning systems guided her toward methods that support problem-solving and emotional development. She introduced Cognitive and Social Emotional Learning within the institution to help students think critically, collaborate better, and develop deeper self-awareness.

Infusing Technology Into Learning: The Rise of Infinity Learn

Sushma recognized that technology could help reach students who lacked consistent access to physical classrooms. She co-founded Infinity Learn, an EdTech initiative that offers digital tools, personalized practice, and teacher support.

Today, the platform serves millions of users. It delivers outcome-based learning and reaches students across geographical boundaries. Infinity Learn also strengthens the classroom experience by giving teachers better ways to guide each student.
