His entry into fashion developed organically over the years – as the fashion world developed new needs and someone offered the opportunity. At Redtape Limited, his jobs have always included several roles and expectations to accommodate a challenging role with increasingly diverse and demanding obligations, he has been supported by a wonderful team.

His approach to every project requires some levels of complexity (or considerable work that must be resolved) and some reasonable judgment. This and other performance requirements necessitate decision making in ways that must be made quickly and without consultation. In his experience, the only way this can be done is when confidence is placed in someone by the leadership of the organization. With increasing potential in the workplace, Vivek approached complex issues with support and confidence from the owners of the company, who routinely would not hesitate to support even when the decisions had not always been guaranteed to succeed.

The team faced a demanding deadline around a high-stakes project that placed them in a difficult circumstance.
